The center of Y is the story of a 25-year-old social entrepreneur and his journey from graduating with a Masters in a private university in Philadelphia to working in a rural hospital in Mozambique, Africa. It is this journey that challenged his conventional classroom education while trying to solve some of the toughest problems in the developing world. This led him to work on his startup Ycenter, headquartered in Philadelphia. This film shows his relationships with his communities in Africa and how some Philadelphia leaders as well as some global leaders are supporting this organization. Most importantly, it shows WHY he cared to create this Ycenter.
